What is the WCD Thought Leadership Council (TLC)?
The TLC is a commission of leading directors and subject-matter experts who explore boardroom issues through a comprehensive deep dive, drawing insights and recommendations for best practices around these issues. Each year, the TLC will tackle a new topic and develop an actionable report for directors to use in their decision-making.

Chaired by Pearl Meyer & Partners, the inaugural report of the TLC takes on one of the most talked-about boardroom agenda items: executive pay. “We are launching the TLC with one of the most complicated and highly-charged issues for boards today,” says Susan Stautberg. “The report candidly shared the challenges boards face in setting compensation strategy and the steps needed to better link pay with business objectives.”
