WCD WEBSITE PROFILE INSTRUCTIONS
1) How do I log in and change my password?
a) Click on Member Log In - top right corner
b) Enter user name – default is: firstnamelastname (ie. alisonwinter), password: wcd
c) You will then arrive at your profile page
d) If you have any questions about your login information, or cannot access the site through the default settings, please contact our office at 212.987.6070 or email@example.com.
e) PLEASE NOTE: The majority of information on this website is password protected.
2) How do I update my member profile, upload a picture, and change my default log in information?
a) After entering default log-in information, you will land on a page that asks you to: change your password. For security reasons it is EXTREMELY important that you create a personal password. Do not continue to use wcd as your password.
b) Please review for accuracy the profile information that has already been entered and make corrections if necessary. The next step is to fill out all relevant fields in the profile form. If a field is required and not applicable, be sure to either enter NA or chose NA in the drop down box. All required fields must to be filled in for your new password to be reset and to have your profile included in the chapter and member directories.
c) As you know, our site is only as good as the information it contains. So please complete your member profile as quickly as possible so each chapter will have a complete member directory. When new board or C-suite searches are sent to WCD, we must be able to identify your areas of experience and expertise by searching the member profiles
d) PLEASE NOTE: “Personal Image” field allows you to upload a picture. Maximum size for image is 125 x 150 pixels.
e) Once you have completed your profile by entering information in all required
fields, click on Submit Registration.
3) How do I upload my CV and/or Biography?
a) After you have submitted your profile, roll your mouse over the navigation bar titled Registration, then click on the tab that says Upload CV and/or Biography.
b) Your first and last names should appear in the appropriate fields. Please confirm that the information is correct.
c) Click on the Browse button to upload your CV. Then click on the Browse button to upload your biography. Please upload at least one document. Note: this application only accepts doc, docx, gif, jpeg, or pdf. Once one or both are uploaded, click on Submit.
d) A link to your CV and/or Biography will be added to your profile within 24 hours.
4) How do I pay my dues online?
a) If you have any questions about that status of your dues payments, please contact our office at 212.987.6070 or firstname.lastname@example.org
b) To pay your dues/renew your membership, go to Renew WCD Membership, listed under Registration.
c) Pick your member type (What chapter are you a member of?)
d) You will be asked to confirm your profile information
e) The next page will ask for your credit card information. This is a secure web page.
f) Once credit card information is entered, you have the option of saving your number in our files for future use.
g) Click Submit.
h) You will receive an email confirmation to print out for your records.
5) How do I register for an event?
a) Click on Events tab in navigation bar. Scroll down to Calendar of Events
b) Once you reach the main calendar page, you may search events by month or by chapter. Chapter events are listed in the pull down menu on the left hand side of the page.
c) To register for the event, simply click on Register for Event Now, under Event Registration tab on the navigation bar.
d) A form will appear with your first name, last name, and email address. Please confirm or edit this information and then click on Submit Form.
e) You will receive a confirmation message stating: “Your form has been successfully submitted.” A confirmation email will also be sent.
