"Disruption--How can Directors See Ahead, Steer Through, and Chart New Course"

Conversation leaders:

Alison Winter (Nordstrom board and WCD co-founder/chair emerita)

and Susan Thronson (Angie's List and Sonic boards)  Bio's attached.

This was a popular session topic at the WCD Global Institute in New York May 3-4. You will hear valuable insights from the board perspective about how companies have dealt with economic and technology changes that have caused them to shift gears and make unexpected turns to remain productive, profitable and relevant in today's new world.

Date:  Friday June 19th, 11:45 to 2 pm.

Where: City Club (top of City National Tower) downtown Los Angeles.

Only "Yes" RSVPs are required, with 48-hour cancelation notice requested please. "No" RSVPs are optional.

If you are a dues-paid member your attendance is free (included in your annual dues payment), and please RSVP through the website:

If you are an invited guest, please RSVP to Betsy (me) and my staff member Alicia LaFarga, and plan to bring a check with you for $125 payable to WomenCorporateDirectors--LA/OC.  Invited guests must currently serve on public/private corporate boards or be "board-ready" and approved by WCD in advance so the roundtable conversation remains at highest level for WCD members and completely confidential.  No media allowed.

Our appreciation goes always to our national sponsors:  KPMG, Spencer Stuart, and Pearl Meyer.
