The Greater New Mexico WomenCorporateDirectors (WCD) Foundation and the Santa Fe Institute (SFI) would like to invite you to a day and a half-long conference on complex systems topics of interest to corporate directors. Led by SFI faculty, lectures will include a general overview of complexity economics, diversity, decision-making in a complex environment, and more. The second day will involve interactive groups and a panel discussion of applicability to C-suite and board decisions and actions. Scientists from the SFI will be part of the discussions.
Speakers include Melanie Mitchell, preeminent authority on Complexity and Complex Adaptive Systems; Scott Page, well-known expert and author on the impact of Diversity; and David Krakauer, President of SFI; among others.
The Santa Fe Institute ranks among the world’s top science and technology think tanks according to the 2014 Global Think Tank Report.
